Influence, Learn, and Participate in Our Growth
ESLCU is a member-driven cooperative. This means all decisions are made with the collective needs of our community in mind. Members have the opportunity to influence the direction of the credit union through participation in our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and by voting on key issues. This collaborative approach helps us maintain transparency and accountability while providing valuable services to our members.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a key event where ESLCU members can engage with the credit union’s direction, ask questions, and vote on important matters. It offers an opportunity to hear from the Board, review performance, and influence decisions that impact the future of the credit union. The Board of Directors is made up of volunteers who meet regularly to oversee the running of the credit union.

The AGM allows members to review the credit union’s performance, ask the directors questions directly, and vote on important matters such as the annual dividend payment, and any rule changes.
All ESLCU members are welcome to attend and participate in the AGM.
Members can vote on proposed resolutions during the meeting. All voting information will be provided as part of the AGM invitation.
Yes, all relevant reports and materials will be made available for members prior to every AGM.
The AGM is held within 6 months after the 31st March each year. All members will receive an invitation 14-28 days before the AGM.
Members can get involved by attending the AGM, volunteering for committees, and voting on key issues affecting the credit union. For more information, please email our team at office@eslcu.co.uk.
