Check Your “Common Bond” Membership Eligibility
To join Eastern Savings & Loans Credit Union, members must share a “common bond” based on legal requirements. Our common bond is that our members must live, work, study, or volunteer in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, or specific Central and North Essex postcodes. This shared connection ensures a trusted and community-focused membership base.
To be eligible for membership with Eastern Savings & Loans Credit Union (ESLCU), you must live, work, study, or volunteer in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, or specified Central and North Essex postcodes. Alternatively, employment with one of ESLCU’s partner organisations also qualifies. Additionally, tenants of Flagship Housing Association, Orbit Housing Group, or Riverside Housing Association are also eligible.
Applicants must provide proof of identity and address. We accept a wider range of identifying documents than most traditional banks. This ensures accessibility while meeting legal membership requirements.
