FAQ's

Not-for-profit clubs and associations, or unregistered societies, with no more than £20,000 held at any one point.

We distribute a dividend based on our yearly profits, which members vote on at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The dividend amount depends on the accounts average share balance throughout the financial year. Even if the organisation withdraws from the account balance before the payout date, your organisation will still receive a dividend based on the eligible balance.

You can have up to £20,000 with ESLCU in our dedicated Community Accounts.

You can deposit with us in a variety of ways. These include by Standing Order, PayPoint, Faster Payment or via cheque. All the information you need regarding how to deposit with us is shared with when you open a Community Account.

We will need email confirmation from two of the named signatories for all withdrawals, or as stated in your signed minutes authorising access on your community account.

As a members cooperative, information on ESLCU accounts are available every AGM. Eligible deposits are protected up to £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
